Seeking validation will keep you trapped in one place because you are so afraid of what people will say when you do this,when you say that or whatsoever. Galatians1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
Be unapologetic, be bold, be you and stop being a people pleaser but rather do what pleases God.
